Ten Tor’s 2019

After months of hard work and preparation, cadets from Bristol & Gloucestershire Wing have successfully completed the Ten Tors Challenge 2019!

The two 35-mile teams and the 55-mile team, wholly self-sufficient, reached all of their checkpoints over the two days, including a camp out on the moors overnight and carrying all their food, tents and equipment.

The arduous terrain and unpredictable weather makes the event one of the most gruelling, but also the most rewarding for our cadets to take part in.  Luckily for the 400 teams crossing the finish line, the weather was just about perfect.

A massive congratulations to the teams and particular thanks to the supervising staff, without who it would not be possible.
