The cadets at both the Boscombe Down and Linton-on-Ouse centres have come from a variety of backgrounds and have met as strangers but leave as colleagues and friends, having supported each other closely within their syndicates. Cadets from each centre got to know each other before meeting via the use of emails and Skype so that when they met face to face they were not strangers or just a name but rather colleagues for whom the bonds of friendship were being built. The QAIC course at both centres runs in parallel in their design so that should a cadet at one of them have questions they can contact a cadet at a different centre who has just been in the same lesson. Cadets celebrate with Blue Lanyard Cadets from both centres paid a visit to 100 & 93 squadrons at RAF Leeming. During this time cadets were invited to discover what these squadrons do for the country in its support of Air Power.
