Two ex-cadets from Hampshire & IoW squadrons have passed out from the Welbeck Defence Sixth Form College. Kathy Morten previously a cadet at 424 (City of Southampton) Squadron and Sophie Gale of 2495 (Hythe) Squadron have completed two years at the college.

On 2nd July 2011 the end of their studies was marked by the College's Annual General Inspection which, this year, was reviewed by Air Marshal Andy Pulford CBE, RAF, Air Member of Personnel and Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Personnel HQ Air Command.

The parade is commanded totally by students and Sophie Gale was in a key role as Head of Stirling House. After inspecting the senior entry and reviewing a march past in slow and quick time AM Pulford presented awards to the best cadets from each service, Kathy Morten received the trophy for best RAF Cadet.

DSFC Welbeck prepares students for entry to university with the Defence Technical Undergraduate Scheme which leads to officer entry in technical branches of all three armed forces and the Defence Engineering and Science Group of the MoD Civil Service.
